look through the hole! it's the red/durrty thing. that's why it's required on mine. cuz of the front bumper.

And, see, this makes me curious if Injen mentions anything about, "Hey, watch out with this thing...splatter some water on it and goodbye engine!" I mean, surely they don't sell something that has the chance to get an engine ruined in normal rain-driving circumstances. Seems like someone would get their ass sued off !

yeah, i know what your saying. but, funny thing is that the 02-04 CAI from Injen is CARB Approved. so why would Cali approve such a thing if there's a high risk of hydrolocking the cars?

Isn't CARB just for emissions? What does California care if your engine gets hydrolocked

As to Chuck's question about lawsuits, I'm sure the warranty says "Use at your own risk: somewhere in there.

i guess they don't really care if you hydrolock your car. since, you can't drive it, they can't write you a ticket.
