Those are actually really high ratings for any all-season tire on Tire Rack.

The stock tires are horrible and not just in the snow. I can't believe Acura chose to put them on in the first place. Sorry to hear about your accident, but at least it wasn't a major accident and it has motivated you to get better tires. I'm so glad that I no longer have the stock tires on my car. I don't drive in the snow so I can't recommend anything. Good luck with finding new tires though.

huge difference in prices/tractions from stock to aftermarket.
