Car 1: 05' Acura RSX-S
New Rims & Tires ordered ;) will ship monday

woot

I got a set of Drag DR-18's 17x7.5 Gunmetal with stainless steel lip. Tires I got were Nitto INVO 225/45-17. Considered the Nitto 555's or NeoGens, but the 555's are loud and the NeoGens don't have the same grip as the INVO's. Also the INVO's are designed for cars with negative camber, like I have on my lowered RSX. Going to get alignment done when I install the new tires, but not sure if they will be able to completely get rid of the negative camber considering how much I lowered my car.

Here's links to the rims
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...100&vid=008898
and tires
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...d=008898&ar=45

They wanted $1,149 but I talked em down to $960 for the rims+tires.

LOL, I have to take pictures of what my threads look like right now. So you guys can see what about 3-4 degree negative camber will do to your tires after 30k miles. Will take em now, and post in a few minutes

If you look on the left side, the inside edge. The threads are almost completely gone. This is a pic of my front driverside tire, my rear tires are even worse, that first large thread on the inside edge is completely gone. LOL. I only noticed this about 2 weeks ago when I was checking my brakes and pulled the tires off. The pic really doesn't do it justice, you can't tell depth, but it's a huge difference between the inside and outside edges. The outside looks almost new and the inside looks almost worn completely.

Those rims are awesome and that is one wacky tread pattern on those Nittos.

yea I heard the NT450's suck...You would have been better off with the NT555, NT555R or NT555R2

Oh, btw. As for the Nitto INVO's. The only bad thing I have ever heard about them is that the sidewalls flex more then most people would like for performance tires. They have AWESOME traction for dry and wet straight aways, but they flex too much on hard cornering. So definately not a track tire, but it's quite and it grips like glue on dry and performs very well on wet/snow so I went with it.

Also, I'm going to use the stock rims (the 5-spoke stock 05' rims) as my winter rims. Going to put some snow tires on em The reason is that I messed up 2 rims when I was almost side swipped and had to dodge a car by going into a curb. And a 3rd rim was slightly damaged when I was passing a car and didn't notice the curb. I looked it up and it will cost me about $120 a rim to get the stock ones fixed, so I decided for that price just to get new rims and keep these as spares.
