They were going to rebuild mine until I found another one in great condition from an otherwise totalled RSX-S. Saved me about 50%.

well the acura guy called me back and my car will be ready tomorrow or saturday. i cant wait...its been like a two week wait on this. im keeping the CAI, but im getting a new filter and the hydroshield. i just have one question? when ordering the replacement filter, do i get the 3" or the 3.5". i was looking to order one the other day but wasn't sure which one.

also im going to have a little bit more selective driving for storms. now ive driven in some pretty rough storms and not had a problem, but the storm that got me was like 60MPH winds and lots of rain. next time im in that situation i am going to pull to the side of the road.

i'll have to go check mine when i get home. since, i had to order a replacement as well. but i think it was 3"

i just got my car back yesterday. i guess im the lucky one when it comes to hydrolocking. well anyways dont have time to write much about it right now, but its running strong again.
