Recommended octane

Wat up, our family just got an 06 rsx today and just wanted to say this car is amazing.

Anyways, what is the recommended octane for the base rsx? The car didn't come with a owner's manual and can't really get a straight answer through google. All help will be appreciated

For the base model, any octane rating that's 87 or higher will do. For the Type-S models, we have to get the premium gas with octane rating that's 93 or higher. Hope that answers your question. Enjoy your RSEX!

You should be fine with 87 or 89, just like the none vtec integra.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure because I want it running at its best. So far, I am very pleased with the RSX, love the handling and the leather seats. I'll post pics later.

This is also the first time seeing split six wheels on a rsx, I thought they only came with the five spoke

Base 05-06 comes with split 6 spokes. The Type S comes with 5 spokes. (Unless you get A-Spec rims.)
