My cousin has a brand new IS 250, it's a 6-speed manual and it's very nice. The interior design is great and very luxurious, I like it. But it's a little too slow and heavy and bogged down.

And the TC definitely is not better than the RSX-S.

Is250 was built to compete with the TSX. It only has 205 horses while the IS350 has 306 which was meant to hang with the G35

First, 50 people can be stretching the truth. Easily. Second, it's an auto, with traction control. There's no driver error, smash the pedal and go. Unless it's a factory freak I can't see it doing 4.8 compared to what Lexus claims of 5.2. If it were stick, I could see an awesome driver getting more out of it compared to what Lexus says.

Traction Control can be turned off in the 07 model.

and Car and Driver got 5.1

With a little practice and some cold weather 4.9 is possible
