Originally I had "Favorite Winter Beer" but then realized not everyone loves beer, so what's your favorite winter drink?
For me, nothing warms me up for the holidays like:
Paulenar Salvator - Doppel Bock

My favorite to warm me up on a cold winter day is a shot of Yukon Jack, a dollop of Kahlua, and fill with coffee.
That is guaranteed to thaw out old, aching bones.

Bailey's and coffee with half a packet of NutraSweet .... sometimes I add a shot of Frangelico (a hazelnut liqueur, then it's called a nutty Irishman) I absolutely love eggnog ... yum!

in Germany : "Glühwein" or mulled wine : "Glühwein is usually prepared from red wine, heated and spiced with cinnamon sticks, vanilla pods, cloves, citrus and sugar."
in Québec : "Caribou" : "Red wine mixed with alcohol (whiskey, vodka, rum, gin, etc)... usually 75% wine 25% alcohol... and it's served warm."

From the recipe I found of "wassail" it seems like it's more based on ale than wine, isn't it ?
