Well, Mr. Hooters has been hanging out with me and mine for a few days.
He seems to like the Oak Ridge/Greensboro area - but don't worry, he's not ready to build a nest here yet...

Here's Mr. Hooters getting ready to go for a ride in ANDUR1L...

no, no, Mr. Hooters! we have seatbelt laws in NC...buckle up! click it or ticket!

After tooling around town, driving on some *yummy* curves, we stopped by my favorite used book & music store, Ed McKay's, to get some used cds...mostly classical, this time. Mr. Hooters wanted to help out...but he was stuck in my bag...

So I pulled him out. Then he got friendly with the cashier...and my change...

Hunting down bargains is hard work! Mr. Hooters and I both thought a little refreshment was in order...

mmm mmm Starbucks is goooooooooooood...

Well, Mr. Hooters wanted to see Palmer's new toy, so off we went again!

I think Mr. Hooters really liked the new MP3 500...

Palmer had to help him get situated at first...it's hard to be a little owl...

He tried a few different seating arrangements...

...and finally found the one he liked best!

Meep!Meep!

After a hard day of having fun, Mr. Hooters has retired for the evening..he's a tuckered out little owl.

Mr. Hooters is looking forward to spending a relaxing evening at home with Tengu

and Darwin...

After an action packed day of djing, librarying, jamming, and photoshooting, Mr. Hooters wanted to play one more game...Where in the World is Mr.Hooters?

Finally, Mr. Hooters was ready to say Goodbye. His travel-case has been upgraded, you see - notice the fluffy white bedding. Even a young owl needs a comfy bed!

Goodbye Mr. Hooters!!!!! Thank you for visiting!!

(Mr. Hooters is on the way to Germany, as of 3:00 this afternoon!)

I just came back from Munich and I had a little card in my mailbox saying I have a package at the post office... I'm pretty sure it's the owl...

So the other day we went to an "Open air cinema"... I don't know how to translate "Freiluftkino" exactly... but it's a movie theater outside. We saw a German movie about the 1st of May in Berlin (workers day) where there's some demonstrations and stuff. Mr Hooters liked it... even if he couldn't understand German really.

On our way back I took some pictures of him in the U-Bahn (Subway)... one drunk guy wanted to punch him because he thought Mr Hooters was taking pictures of him. Then he was offered a joint by a weird stranger... but he made it safe and sober home nevertheless.

Ok, so yesterday we took a walk with Mr Hooters...

We were shopping for a car, then he visited the American Embassy to have some information (the picture is from far a bit because we cannot take the Embassy in picture

), then we visited the Brandenburg Gate (the show and the stalls were for the

National Day), then Mr Hooters visited the Reichstag and finally he went to the train station to go to his next destination.

P.S. there's a beer (in a plastic cup) hidden in one of the picture.
