OK, an "elegant" attempt. This could work on a black T or a white T:

I'm sure I've bored everyone to death by now but if I'm going to design, I'm going to rejoice and NOT having to stay within the bounds of the government.
So, I get to do what I want to do ! (so there!) Therefore, I present my "modern, contemporary, bold" design. For a black T. Now, before you go all "ga-ga" on me, this one has a special merit... ...when you look in a mirror, half of it will read correctly... ![]() But, it looks pretty cool to me. Cutting edge...as an Acura should be.

I'm about done with designs. I might have one more up my sleeve. See how I feel later on.
To summarize, several of these designs don't have a "back" design, so there is, IMO, an opportunity to add something to the back that works well with the front. If there is any interest, I can do that pretty easily...as long as we aren't looking for "amazing" graphics. In retrospect, it might be possible to add one of the above designs on the front and another on the back but, to be blunt, not sure there are any designs that work well together.

Chuck, the tach design is solid. I like the last one too, but the reverse 'acura' doesn't look good IMO.
This may have already been discussed, but I imagine the acura logo (& possibly font?) is a registered trademark & would require AW to pay licensing fees or something to reproduce it. Just a thought.

Thanks, guys.
For Greg: Yeah, I had thought about that but, generally speaking, corporations (unless they are really assholic) "look the other way" when their logo is used in a positive (read: helping out their bottom line) way. Anyway, that's what I'm hoping. Otherwise, ALL these forums for cars would likely be in a pinch since I suspect none of them pay a licensing fee for trademarks/logos used/depicted in their sites. It's also the reason I refrained from incorporating "Tighter than your little sister" into the designs...no need to "invite" a problem. [edit] The font is a free font called, NSX. I don't know who made it but it's available at a lot of the popular font sites. If Acura is upset at it, they would probably start getting rid of the source and not just the people who used it. Also, if there is any interest on the last design, I can easily flip the ACURA word around. As I mentioned, it's a feeling of freedom when I get to "go crazy" on my own and I thought making that word into a "mirror" would make it just a "little bit" more daring. SO to speak. ![]()

IC.
On the 'mirror' one, now that I take a step back & look at it more closely (huh?) I can see what you were doing & I like it. Still not my fav, but it's cool. What I think would make it look better is to have the 2 words blend together more (color-wise like the A & W stacked on top of each other) so the reflection theme would be more apparent. Or put 'world' upside down under 'acura'...but then it may look like 'Acuramold' or something... What I'm saying is, spend all your free time making it the way I like, just so I can not buy it. ![]()

Well, it looks like Zazzle, a bit more expensive (yet, heavier t-shirts) will get the nod. Apparently, you can use a product (i.e., a "dark T") once. After that, you can't use a "dark T" again. Well, you CAN if you pay a fee to do so. We can forget that.
So, a lot of my time was wasted today because I didn't read the "fine print". Sigh...
