CRAP - This one got right by me in my absence - and yet somehow it popped up in the new post section this morning.

I'm down for a window sticker - embroidered "golf" type shirt - Hell Yeah!

So, Super Mod and Admin - What's the progress? Any designs from Chuck?

What do we need to get it moving?

We need designs, I've got nothing from anybody

But I'm still down. I'll try to come up with some designs this weekend.

Only across the back, not the front.

Well, no one has formally asked me to do any designs nor given any parameters on the image. This means size, color requirements, and output needs. If you know anything about pricing at all, then you know 1-color is cheaper than 2-color, etc. 4-color costing the most, of course. Then, it would help to know where it would be being used...decal, t-shirt, hat, etc.

Then, if it said anything other than "Acuraworld.com", someone would have to "sign off" on some phrase or saying or words to be used. If there was a color theme that needed to be adhered to, that would need to be known. If it needed to have the same "look and feel" as the website does, would need to know that.

See? It's not as simple as..."Hey, design something!" And, believe me, I know because I get incomplete data ALL the time from people asking me for graphic design at work.

If you were a business and wanted a logo designed, you wouldn't just call a design house and say, "Here is our company name, come up with a logo".

Alright, I worked on a design last night. Well not really a design, more just photoshopping of a picture so that it could go on a shirt, turned out pretty cool IMO. I'll upload it whenever I get my internet at home working

For a shirt I think we would be fine keeping it with one color, or maybe one main color with an accent color (black/red). For the sticker I would say keep that as simple as possible, one color.

For the shirt I was thinking about having a smaller pic/logo on the front left, and then on the back like across the shoulders having "www.acuraworld.com" or something along those lines. I mean at this point we're early enough that I would say any design is welcome. Put out what you think would look cool and let everyone see it. We can vote later on design, but first we need designs

Who will be making the decision? Vote? Will the site pay for the stuff and hope to make it back in sales or will everyone who wants something have to indicate how much they are willing to pay and then it's a one-time purchase?

Let me say it another way, too--I don't want to spend time designing without some parameters only to spend time and have someone say, "Naw, can't use that...too expensive" or "You should re-do it and use more light blue like you see on the site logo" or "There should be some kind of slogan on the design...it will need to be re-done and a slogan worked into it."

I wouldn't be saying this stuff if I hadn't been blind-sided too many times already at work.
