![]() & I'm w/Dave, that font sucks. Hasn't the graffiti thing been played to death by now? If nothing else, it reeks of 'ricer'. But don't take my advice b/c I don't see myself buying one (no offense) unless it's a hypercolor shirt. And I know a lot of you feel like this place is a family, but I think a shirt advertising that would be horrendously anti-heterosexual. Just my .02. ![]() But here's a few thoughts to get the creative juices flowing: Something like this perhaps: An NSX font: http://www.ejeeto.com/nsxfont.zip There's also this font, which may be the same thing: ACURA font... Or how about this; expand the circle of the Acura logo to include a 'W' in the same stylized font. I don't have the skills, but I think that would be pretty solid.

Whatever "hypercolor" means.
(no offense)Well, it IS a family, of sorts. By that, I mean I expect it's a rare moment when Club RSX people spend time making comments on other people's personal woes. (but I could be wrong) So, we're not the great and powerful Oz (ooops, sorry, different script). My way of saying we're NOT Club RSX or as big as a lot of other huge places. So, the shirt, IMO, advertising AW just might (MIGHT) get the attention of someone who doesn't want to be just a tiny spec on the beach but a member whose first name gets learned. And used. And, contrary to what Sven may have intimated, EVERY single person I've seen pop in and post gets greeted like a friend. And if the pop into the daily thread for a bit of give and take, yeah, we might not know their first name and all but I've ALWAYS see that they get responses. So, it IS kind of a family and I don't see why that's some sort of "anti-heterosexual" thing. Which, by the way, might be construed as an "anti-gay" remark. FWIW. I don't mean to argue with you, Greg, because you are obviously more educated than me. And, therefore can beat me hands down. I'm just giving the "trailor park" version of what I think. Trying to come up with a t-shirt that satisfies everyone is difficult. I'll spend some time on it, though. The image you supplied has a modern look yet not "ricey" as you say. It's obviously an NSX so we can't get that distinct. But it lends to the ideas. SO, thanks !

Hypercolor shirts were the ooh-la-la of teenage fashion many years ago. They were made of a temperature sensitive material.
![]() ![]() And yes, people would actually go around touching those shirts just like in that bottom picture. Good way for those that desired attention to be felt up. You're creating drama where there is none. I wasn't insulting those who felt a family feeling here & this is by & large a very friendly forum, I was just saying I thought it would be dumb to put on a t-shirt, which I clearly stated was just my opinion. And if my 'anti-heterosexual' comment could be construed as 'anti-gay' then there are tons of comments on this site every day (often from moderators) actually using the word 'gay' as a derogative term which can definitively be construed as 'anti-gay'. And no, I'm not more educated than you or anyone else. And I seriously think adding a W to the Acura logo would be a good logo. Kbear, get on that.

Part two, IMO, separates AW from other forums. It's also, IMO, truth in advertising...you get a forum about Acuras, and if you care, you get some sort of "family". I think that's a nice thing to promote about a site. Wasn't trying to create drama...just interpreting what I thought you meant. I'll leave the drama to our 13-year-old daughter. ![]() Just my .02. Thanks for the Hypercolor thingies. So, are you saying that they change colors due to heat? Like the "mood" rings" That would be totally strange, yet awesome.

Suppose we could have an NSX picture on our shirts... since none of us have them
. But they'll be out of date soon (when the new NSX is released). I'll see what I can do about throwing a \X/ in the circle with the A... but yeah, definitely not easy.

Something like this Greg? I don't know if it would look right in a circle.. sorry I didn't put it in a circle, photoshop was being a gay flaming homo and wouldn't do a simple circle.
![]() Yes I know it's not even, it's rough, I'm not about to put in the time on more logos for everyone to have fucking problems with them.

Just messing around with font, still trying to find this certain font we should use (well, actually, what I want) but I can't find it. Need to buy some software that shows me fonts in preview mode.

Hehe...
Mostly the "trench" work right now. Found an Acura emblem in B&W of a good size. Imported to Illustrator, Live-Traced it, which converts it from raster to vector (which gives me ability to size as I wish without "jaggies"), and saved to PS as a Smart Object. Researched and found (pretty much) the Acura font, downloaded, and installed. Looks passable. Read over Cafe Press and what they need (prefer PNG) for dark and white shirts (will just make everything for dark). Golf shirts will need special. Can either be pocket/back or pocket. They don't do "fronts" on golf shirts. So, now it's down to some designs. I'm going to mimic Kev's, first (he never sent any files so...), as there was some interest in it (but the grafetti font will probably not be the same). I plan to create the files so that I can easily alter some overall color (when possible) and upload a color request. Files will be 300 DPI, a probable decent resolution for shirts. I've created an account (Slynky's Store). Now, ready to start making some designs no one will want. Laterz!
