Darn it... went to the track today
As for power mods, I only have a K&N. So basically stock.
The best run I had was -- R/T -- .578 60 -- 2.294 1/4 -- 15.272 MPH -- 90.30 77 degrees out, 90+% humidity. I'm in Michigan, so not on a high elevation or anything. How did I do?? ![]()

Well, we're going back next week when it's a bit cooler. If it dips into the 50's, I think I can pull off 14's.

That's pretty reasonable I believe too. That's some really high humidity for you guys isn't it?

pretty damn good reaction time there. your 60 foot seems about average for the type s, no? so yeah, wait till it gets cooler with less humidity and you should be in the 14's easy

Thanks, guys.
![]() I was surprised that I got pretty decent reaction times. I even beat a 9-second dragster in R/T!! Anyway... I'm not too happy with the numbers. I'm gonna get exhaust and CAI. I'm ditching K&N.

Exhaust - 585 bucks Headers - 1000 bucks. I think I'll get CAI and exhaust first, then get headers in the spring. I just spent 300 bucks on the sway bars and 170 on the springs, so I'm a little tight on cash. ![]()

Going to a track depends on the track. I have been to tracks that only charge $10 and I have paid as much as $40 but never more than that. They want lots of cars so they can get more spectators. You have to have a valid license, insurance, and a helmet. They might also do a safety inspection so make sure your car has good tires, seat belts, and in decent shape. I’m sure it is but I have seen guys try and race 1975 Chevy trucks with no seat belts and bald tires so it never hurts to mention it.
