First Track Day!

Whew, just went on my first track day today. It was much more fun than i expected. I'm still running on stock parts so my tires were screeching like there's no tomorrow. Here's a snap of my car on the tracks... fun fun fun

Are you talking about the 1/4 mile track? If so, how about some times?

Hmm...pic no working? i can see it..can anyone else see it? anyway, thunderhill's more of a technical corse. It's pretty nice in that it doesn't have walls all over the place so just in case u do spin out, you won't be hurting your car. There was a car that spun out in front of me and he just came right back up, there's just a buncha dirt around the track. Here's a snap of the track
http://www.thunderhill.com for more information about the track. I don't think they do 1/4 miles there, at least not when i was there. If you're new to the tracks, there are instructors that you can take on your ride and they give you awesome tips. For the new and nervous, they really help a lot. You can also go on ride alongs where you can have them drive your car and you be a passenger as well. (just to see what your car CAN do with some skillz...hehe) They teach you how to drive the lines on the course. Made a big diff for me having them ride along.
