My TL-s vs. Audi TT - Acura Forum

I have a friend that came by and we were sitting around and having a discussion about whos car is faster so we decided to go out at night and race. Basically I have an 03 TL-S with obx headers, AEM CAI, and Magnaflow axle back. But also have 2 JL 12's in a huge bandpass in the the trunk. My friend has a 02 TT which is 1.8L turbo with an exhaust and chip, but also has advantage of 4wd.

So off the line he jumped on me about 1.5 car lengths b/c he didnt peel out at all and i had no traction for all of first gear. Then I held him to that 1.5 cars till about 60mph when my car started pulling up and then I went past him as we hit 70mph.

We made about 8 runs and it was the same outcome each time where he had me off the line and I would pass him later and kept pulling away from him. Off a roll we were dead even for a few seconds and then I would start pulling away.

So we concluded that if it was a race from a red light in city situations he would beat me b/c we wouldn't go past 60mph and on the highway I would beat him.

They don't make a TT in 2.7t. The S4 on the other hand did have a 2.7t and of course I would be no match for that
