Here's a post of a guy who ran a low 15 in a lightly modded Z... From his array of times, he can't drive
With those mods, other drivers are putting down high 14's. http://forum.teamzx2.com/viewtopic.php?t=14210 I'm sure I can find more times if I really looked... but I'm hungry, gonna go get lunch ![]()

sux i haven't been to a 1/4 mile track so my time judgment sux past 1/8th. I think that a 10 flat is the best i would get out my gsr if i ran it perfect. Thats seeing how my best time is like 10.4 with i/e. Heh mabey i could run a 9 and i just really suck? who knows.... im sure alt. and temp makes a big diference those runs where at a cold track so traction wasn't all there

Yeah, a lot of things play into a 1/4 mile run. I think a GSR should be at a 15.2~15.5 stock, no? Alt and temp/humidity play a big role too. And if you can't hook up traction, there goes your launch... You've also got to play with your shift points... find that "sweet spot" I know a lot of Z drivers find they run quicker 1/4 just winding 3rd out, and not bothering to shift into 4th. (3rd goes to roughly ~92mph b4 you hit the rev limiter). Just practice, and you'll get it...
