Ran my Ford

Well... car running like crap and all (it stalls sometimes, idles like shit.... timing belt refuses to align properly... i've got a list of shit I'm working on ), I got bored this Friday, and decided that I must see what time I can get with a crappy running ZX2. This was my very first time at the track, ever. None of my runs hooked up good traction, oh well. My best run:

R/T: 1.000 (yay My first run of the night had a .182 )
60': 2.450
330: 6.764
1/8: 10.395
MPH: 67.74
1000: 13.532
1/4: 16.199
MPH: 84.19

I need to practice quite a bit at this track, LOL! Oh well, must fix the car first!

For comparison, there was a 94+ Teggy there (LS engine) with i/h/e and lowered. His best run of the night was a 16.3. When I ran my 16.2, he ran a 16.7.

Still sounds like a lot of fun.

looks like you'll get some decent times when you get everything dialed in... 15's for qtr mi is not too shabby.

maybe it would help if you took all that audio stuff out of the car

stay safe and have fun!

Naw, no audio equipment (NEVER race with audio equipment LOL). What woulda been nicer is if my car was in perfect health Once I get the bitch fixed, I'm going to get my 15s slip And I guess 17's at 40psi aren't that great traction on that track

yeah, 40psi seems a bit much... but, you probably got better gas mileage .

were you slipping with your 17's?
I'm sure you'll eventually find your ideal set up. In the mean time, you're having fun, so no harm done.
I would try throwing some cheapy but light steels with sticky rubber on there for the 1/4 mi...
