Eh, not that well. I had busted a bolt on the diaphram cover on my clutch master cylender the day before so I still couldn't shift that much (stupid auto adjusting clutch hydrolics). I just left it in 3rd and bogged my way around the tight corners.

My buddy (the type s) had fun with his newly aquired Canon Rebel XT

Oh, and the fun thing was I was braking deeper then the porsches (at least 50 ft deeper) in my same run group for those times when I did have use of 2nd gear.

i think that had to do with your driving experience more then the car... most pcar owners that don't race are very conservative with their cars.. you'll see just about any brand car passing them when the other driver is a bit more serious... (IE: spec miata, etc)

rsx stock at ~2750 lbs versus a standard c2 at ~3000 lbs but the c2 does have better brakes and fatter tires so braking should be about the same, if not the edge still to the c2 for larger discs and more brake torque...

Oh, see if this makes sence to you at all. The more harder and faster I drive on the track, the more slower and conservitive I drive in the canyons.

i don't drive canyons anymore period.. too many yahoos on the street that think they can drive...

i get my speed fix on the track... and if i need some competition, there is always a scca, poc, pca, bmwcca, nasa race event i can enter... no need to risk myself or innocent folks on public streets.

That's true. I still go up every now and then when i get bored. Kinda way to help me clear my head a bit.

the doctor recommends you attend more track events then.. at least once a month is pretty good for me.. and i supplement that with karting as much as necessary

LOL. I'm probably gonna be hitting the track up more often this year as it seems like there's more weekend events this year then last.
