Streets of Willow track days: 9/29 & 10/2 - Acura Forum

Leadfoot Adventures is holding a pair of track days at Streets of Willows on Friday Sept 29th and Monday October 2nd. Registration is only $145 for one day or $270 for both. Registration is now open at motorsportsreg.com.

As at all Leadfoot Adventures track days, breakfast in the morning and bottled water all day are included at no extra charge, as is instruction for all novice drivers. On Friday the course will be run in the counter-clockwise direction and on Monday it'll be reversed and run in the normal clockwise direction. There will be 3 or 4 run groups depending on how many novice, intermediate, and advanced drivers sign up. Expect to get about 2 hours of track time each day, and to leave with a big-ass grin on your face.

I ordered it from my tire guy that I always goto. Doesn't hurt the fact that he lives right around the corner from me.

hmm... wonder what the holdup is. I order my Toyo RA-1s from a guy way on the other side of the country and I get them within a week without fail. Maybe there's a shortage of the tire brand you order.

By the way... There's still a couple days left to take advantage of the $125 / $235 reg special. Price goes up to $135 / $255 on Sunday.

Used RA-1s... not a bad idea if it saves some money. I assume they were full tread before you get 'em?

I ran at Laguna on street tires once. It was great to see the difference between the two compounds... almost 4 seconds per lap.

They were.... not no more. Not bad for about 70-80 bucks per tire for 235/45-17 "shaved and heat cycled" for you.

That sucks. Maybe you can make the next one at Thunder Hill on Dec 10, the last event until March or April unless Laguna Seca rings our phone.
