Stupid Racers
Ok, I know that this is the "Bragging Rights" forum, but I am actually ashamed of this:
I was at a stop light a few days ago when a green Geo Metro pulls up in the lane next to me and starts revving his engine. So naturally I revved mine back. The light turned green, and I burned out, he lit up all three cylinders on his sewing machine engine. I think you can guess the outcome. I hope his bolts were tightened.  |

I too have been raced by the crappiest of cars. Mid 1980's citations, hyundai 4 doors, pick-up trucks, rust bucket preludes with mismatched hubcaps. I wish these people would get a clue, not saying my RSX is the fastest thing on the road but come on.

Whats up with all these crappy cars when you beat them. I raced a guy in a crappy Civic the other day that was stock other than exhaust. I beat him by like 7 car lengths and the race is clearly over. I am slowing down for the next stoplight brakelights on and he keeps accelerating and blows past me with his flashers on. This has happened several times and people always call it the "Ricer Flyby" why do guys do this is makes Import guys like us look lame?
