'00 TL OEM sub ?'s

i've replaced the HU and speakers in my 00 TL, now i'm looking to replace the OEM sub. whichever woofer i get, WILL be going in the OEM location. i'm not interested in having a box in my trunk. i'm looking for SQ fill, not to rattle any windows.

what size is the OEM woofer in a 00 TL? also, how big is the hole where the OEM sub is mounted? what is the max depth is before the trunk springs get in the way? i figure i'll have to use some sort of spacer, assuming there is room to play with on top of the woofer. i haven't looked yet.

also, what subs would you guys recommend for this application?? probably going to have to go with an 8". i've heard good things about RF p2's performance when used in open air applications. is this true?

i will be powering it with an RF p200.2, 200W x 1.

thanks in advance!

kenwood dpx-501 & cdt audio cl-6ex

i went with the audio only double-din kenwood dpx-510. i don't want video. but i do have the factory navi screen available if i want to add video in the future. the HU is nice. definitely easy to use, but does require some getting used to. i didn't used any additional amps. it's 50w x 4.

i installed cdt audio cl-6ex coaxial speakers in all four doors. if you're not familar with cdt audio, check them out at www.cdtaudio.com. they make high quality speaker systems. since i didn't want amps, i just went with the coax's since they would work better with lower power. so far i am pleased with their performance.

i'd like to add a new woofer in the factory location. i'm probably going to do that soon. just trying to decide which woofer to get.
