08 TL NAVI & HFL Voice ?'s

I think this voice command system hates my voice seems to work well with my wifes sometimes. Well the real problem is when you go to add HFL phonebook contacts by voice and you get one in and go to the next and it just starts saying all kinds of wrong commands. And then you can't enter anymore because it will not understand what your telling it. So frustrating. Of course our phone a Nokia 6085 on the AT&T network will not do the full phone book swap, but says you should be able to do contact by contact. Can't get that to work at all. So we try to just enter them by voice and can't get it to work either. Anybody have any probems with this? I try to tell the navi to display main map and it turn AC on max I think it hates me

Sorry - hate to do this - but Aftermarket FTW! Have a Motorola bluetooth car kit that works like a charm and waiting for a Navigon GPS that also has Voice Command. Factory just doesn't cut it for me.

Try posing this question in the "Ask The Dealer" forum: There may be a firmware upgrade and Tim might be able to advise you of what can be done!
