FM modulator: A new style
So I saw at Wal-Mart today a new style (new to me anyway) of FM modulator that hardwires into the car and bypasses the factory antenna into it, and then it plugs into the radio in the antenna port. It seems like it would work better because it's not "broadcasting" FM waves to the radio but rather inputting them directly. Anyone tried this type? How is it?

that seems familiar... I think that's been around for a while... ( I might be thinking of a CB bypass or somthing)... but seems like it might be better, but if you are gonna go thru the trouble of doing that, you might as well hard wire it.

well the power side will be hardwired but this will keep from me loosing XM and having to buy a more expensive audio source switcher
