2004 Rl Rim job....
This past Sunday i woke to a nail in my MDX front Tire. So I swapped out the spare....while I had everything out (floor jack, tools etc) I began what turned out an all day ANAL job for me...I took each tire off the RL one by one, hand washed front and back, then cleaned all the suspension exposed parts and the wheel well....I finished by dark. Every muscle in the body was sore....She don't look too bad for going on 9 years old and 24K original miles...My neighbors think I need professional help...LOL

Well there was never any "gunk" as the car has never seen a wet road, been in the rain or on a gravel dirt road....its cherry....every other year I do this to keep it spotless...What I do use is 409, followed by a wet rag and paper towel. Final product is good ole ArmorAll on the wheel well then slap the wheel back on...

Ah. I've been using a heavy duty degreaser from Smart & Final at a 8:1-12:1 dilution ratio on my wheel. When I run out, I'm probably going to try their citrus based degreaser.
I also use the same degreaser around the house as an AP cleaner.

I bought the RL brand spanking...so NO gunk has ever built up on the vehicle....So NO heavy duty degreaser needed...I've got like 58+ coats of Zaino on her ytd.....Everything is stock other than the limo tinted windows....
It's awesome that you have that option. I just bought my first RL it's a 2000 with high miles, when things get better with my money situation and this one dies I will be buying another one.

Great to inspire other members as I hate DIRTY MUDDY STAINED wheel wells.....nothing is worse and certainly NOT complete when you DETAIL your ride....Changed the oil last weekend...took her to dinner last night...upon retrieving her from parking attendant guy....he said...Excuse me sir...but how do you keep her SO clean/spotless/cherry.......? I smiled and said that's a long story....
