96 3.5 RL Subwoofer/amp installation

Hello, first off, i have to yet to purchase anything, however i do want to install a sub woofer for my 1996 Acura 3.5 RL. I'm not 100 percent sure on what i need to get or do in order to actually be able to do this, but i believe i will need not only the sub, but also an amp, a high lo converter and an install kit, please correct me if i'm wrong. The car is factory everything, including the bose speakers. I'm thinking of getting an alpine 12 in sub as well as an alpine amp, i'm just not sure on which ones i should get or if i can even install them in my car. Any advice or instructions on how to do any of this would be greatly appreciated. If all else fails i plan on just taking the car into cartronics or something and seeing what can be done. Thanks.

to be safe I would take it to a audio car shop and let them advise you on what can be integrated. Messing up your electronics is not worth it.....Bose systems can be a pita......
