Anyone swap the headunit from the 04 to their RL?

I love the new materials they used in the 2004 RL radio. Anyone know if i could swap the radio from a 2004 and put it in a 2002 RL?

if it could be done, you would also need to swap the wood panel, since the cut out is different...

You could actually do all those things...

A 2004 conversion would be as follows for a RL:
1. Instrument cluster/cover with the chrome rings and the a/c drivers vent panel with the chrome strip = $161.20
2. Center A/C panel= $747.25(with or without navigation),
3. Passengar A/C panel with chrome strip= $49.55
4. All 4 door sills= $82.60 each(front), $82.60 each(rear)
5. Chrome insert/shifter 21.60

Of course you would also need an entire new instrument cluster with the different colored font (blue instead of white), and replace all the bulbs to blue... but to me that's way too much hastle. At least the things listed above are easily swapable. However, that center A/C panel is too much for my tastes. The center A/C vents don't come separately(so I've been told), and I would need to purchase an entire new center console just to get those chrome strips on the a/c vents.
