HOW TO; rearview mirror replacement

I tried the search button BUt got tired of looking.. I just bought a rearview mirror for my 2000RL. My old one was leaking. I popped the cover off near the top but that doesn't appear to have a allen screw. I don't want to break anything, I just want to replace this mirror. Any tips or advise will help
TIA Dennis

Thanks Rocketright , I assume that the 3.2 and the RL have the same set-up. Reading the HOW TO , it is kinda scary, when the words hammer / punch and windsheild are in the same sentence LOL.. I am old school , a little allen /loosen and it's off. IF YOU READ A THREAD :: F#@K, I broke my windsheild , you will know !!!

People have cracked many-a-windshields trying to replace the mirrors

Just be careful, which is kind of hard to do when doing this since you have to be firm at the same time

A money saving tip: The TL mirror fits the RL and is functionally the same. You can have it in any color you like, so long as it is black, but that will cut the cost of the mirror by about 2/3.
