2009 Toyota Corolla XRS or Honda Civic Si sedan?
I never owned a sedan before, but as daughter gets older, I'm thinking of buying one, one would be a 2009 Toyota Corolla XRS, or Honda Civic Si sedan,
I think the 2009 Toyota Corolla XRS, looks better then the Honda Civic Si sedan, but has less power, but is going to be a family car, so power doesn't really matter, I guess I could go with a base model Civic. Both cars has good gas mileages, and they are reliable, but I I'm looking to buy one in a few months.

Both are good, solid cars. I'd go Honda, but you might get a better deal on the Corolla.

I like the looks of the new Corolla much better, plus you'll probably get more torque down low with that bigger engine. I'm not a fan of the way the new Civics look. Probably never will be.
My old Corolla was a tank too - snow, rain, sleet, road salt, mud, off-roading, you name it. The only thing it couldn't survive was my brother and a stone wall at 80mph. ![]() |

I saw a red Corolla XRS today, it looks pretty good, much better then the new Civic.
But I like Silver, maybe blue. ![]() ![]()

I also think the Corolla looks better than the Civic. It's also a couple of thousand cheaper than the Civic...
