Looking around for some Acura Legends to purchase in the future and found this one. It says it have a rare engine in this model. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Maybe I'm wrong, and I often am, but it was my understanding that the Type II engine was standard in the 94 and 95 models.
![]() Nice looking Legend, though. I love the 2Gens in White.

I also love 2 gen legends in white, less attention from the police too. Do you know if the 2 gen came with manual transmissions because the ones I find on CL are always on the 1st gen.At first, I thought the Type II engine was rare because it is longitudinal with the car meaning RWD but then I remembered that Legends were only available in FWD.

Alrighty then, found out that the type II is a special edition Legend that offers a 6 speed manual and hp is increased to 230. I gotta get my hands on this car.

I almost wonder if he just swapped in a Type II engine, from the way he wrote it.
The Type-II engine was standard on coupes from '93 onward, the sedans got the other engine. Also, the GS got the Type-II engine in '94. So just because the thing says Type II engine doesn't necessarily mean it's a type II legend. A 6-speed type-II is near impossible to find and they usually sell for stupid amounts of money, kind of like a 6-speed TT supra. Good luck man. |

Looking around for other ones and this is only one available. Hoping to find another one in the summer when I sell my car.
