Wave key is basically a key that doesn't have the sharp serrated edges. It actually still does, but only through half the thickness of the key. The other half has a smooth edge. It saves your pocket liners from holes. I also believe the key fob is integrated with the key.

I would assume this is the same key used in the current honda lineup.

I believe so. I don't know if all Hondas have them yet, but any of the new redesigned vehicles coming out do.

A commercial for the CSX I saw recently said November 22 for availability.

The CSX will only be available in Canada. The body is essentially the JDM Civic, but with a different front hood and grille, more luxury features and options, and a more powerful engine (the same engine that is currently in the RSX).

i can't believe the touring is not coming with sunroof!

i loved the touring model till i read that.

why not there has been tons of acura models in the past you couldnt get a sunroof in and not everybody wants a slider, as well it makes costs cheaper so its more competitive in the market place...I dont think its a bad thing at all

Any idea what the fuel economy rating is?

The fuel efficiency is not as good as in the past, as the horsepower has increased. I suppose you must give up one for the other. The fuel efficiency being quoted by Transport Canada (which is in extremely IDEAL conditions) is:
8.7 city, 6.4 hwy, manual transmission. The automatic stats are not available yet. And someone was asking about costs earlier, according to the National Post - November 18, 2005, the base CSX is $25,400 and the fully loaded model is $31,200. Significantly higher than my 2004 EL cost.

That $31,200 for fully loaded also includes the navi. If you don't get navi, the price is just over $28,000.

Considering all the upgrades they've given to the CSX over the EL, the major one being the engine, everyone should have expected a pretty significant price hike over the EL.

No its made right here in Canada, the same place that the EL was made but the Engine is shipped over in a crate from Japan. So its kinda a half breed!
