6.5 Components in 04 EL - Acura Forum

Hey guys....

Havent been here for a long time let alone even starting a thread.....

Been busy with work and all, and well now that I have a little money for some install.

I bought a pair of 6.5 Rockford components.

My question is: are these a bolt off bolt on speaker or will i require some modifcations to the front speaker area. I am contemplating doing this myself, and well..... would rather not pay anymore for install. The sub and amp and HU are also going to be done by myself. Those im quite familiar with.

I know this is prolly a question that TELLY would be able to answer best.

Sorry been busy. Try taking off your door panel and you'll see these speakers don't just bolt right in. You'll need to buy or fabricate spacers (Metra and Scosche both make them for the 01+ Civic, which is what you need) then drill into the door to mount. Easy stuff.
