How are the EL's when dealing with crosswinds? And how does the 1.6 compare to the 1.7 in that regard? Also which is better suited for longer trips? Thanks

I had a 96 Civic and an 01 EL, and I found the 01 (1.7) EL better in the crosswinds, although the Civic (1.6) wasn't really bad itself. For longer trips, both are about the same I would say in terms of ride quality and the fatigue factor. Speed-wise, the 1.7 EL has a slight advantage because it has slightly more torque and HP at a lower RPM.
