CSX: 2006 vs 2007

Hello all, I'm new to the forums and to the vehicle buying world. I've narrowed my choices down to 3:

2006 or 2007 Honda Accord SE or EX
2006 or 2007 Mazda 3 GT
2006 or 2007 Acura CSX Premium

I was just curious if anyone's read any reviews on the upcoming CSX. I recently called an Acura dealer, and was informed that there would be a new CSX this year, a CSX S with additional horsepower. He told me that would be the only difference. He said the new CSX's will be released in mid-October, and the new CSX S in late October.

Anyways, just wondering, any reviews?

I would say the CSX as a smaller car, but if your looking for a bigger car, obviously the Accord EX. Are you going wiht th Accord sedan or coupe? Mazda3 5-door or 4-door?

Hi.

I've been going back and forth in my mind about either wanting a family-sized car for my future, or a smaller car for now since I've never really had a sportier type car. I like the Mazda 3, but I've run into 3 crooked/mean dealers, so maybe that's a sign. I was close to buying an Accord, but it didn't have the MP3 and leather which is something I deep down love for some reason. Then I found the Acura CSX, and, for about $1500 more than the Mazda 3, I can get everything I wan t in a car with the dependabilty that comes with the Honda name (albeit in an Acura). So, I think I've decided on an Acura CSX, and I'm not 100% certain as to whether or now I'll wait for the 2007 model to come out or the 2006 at a reduced rate.

Acura CSX S

Just got the official info on the vehicle. No more rumours, the car is gonna be available as of late October. Dealers are already taking orders.

Here's what it's gonna feature:

2.0 i-VTEC 197hp @ 7800rpm
Close ratio 6 spd manual transmission
Helical Limited Slip Differential
New-design 17" alloy wheels
Sport-tuned suspension
Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with traction control
Red ambient cabin lighting
350-watt audio system with 7 speakers and a digital audio card reader
"Type S" inscribed floor mats
"Type S" embossed leather seats with high-contrast stitching

Plus it's gonna be available in specific Type S exterior colours.

Price: $33400

I wonder if it's in Auto? Not sure if I could afford $33400, but I do like the audio system and a lot of these features. Maybe some will be available on the 2007 CSX.

Is that in Canadian dollars, or US? sounds just like the new Civic SI Sedan, only that is under the Acura name.
