Factory Alarm System
Hi, I'm new to these forums.
My question is about the factory alarm system. I purchased the factory remote from my neighbourhood Acura dealer in Saskatoon, SK. (Funny thing was when I went to my car to open my door from through the window, the alarm went off for the first time since I ever got the car, which was solved by simply unlocking the door) However, after programming the remote myself (using the service manual) the alarm won't go off anymore when I lock my doors! Everything else works, trunk, panic button, lock and unlock driver and all doors. The security light beeps and everything but it's still not working... does anybody have any clue to why it might not be working? |

No idea. Maybe you somehow disabled the alarm entirely.
 Might need to take it to the dealer to get that fixed. What were you trying to program your remote/alarm to do? BTW,  to AcuraWorld. |
