Rust Proof
Hello All...I'm new to this...
just bought my new CSX in April 06 with Navi....loving it!! Anyway....does anyone have any info on rust proofing. Should I have it done? Dealer charging too much...any suggestions??? PLEASE HELP!! Want to get this done before Winter!! Angel007-Toronto  |

Deciding whether to get rustproofing requires a number of factors to consider. The answer is yes if you plan on keeping your car for more than a few years and you live in an area where you get lots of snow, and especially if road salt is used in the winter. Dealers always charge more. However, having said that, when I bought my TSX, I did get the dealer rustproofing because it gave me free inspections and resprays forever, as well as lifetime warranty. Since I plan to keep my TSX for a very long time, it was worth it for me. Most outside places will charge you a fee every year for inspection and respray, with a cheaper than dealership upfront initial spray charge. |
