2002 Acura TL 3.2L Cruise control problem

I just got the Timing belt done on my Acura by a mechanic I know a couple of days back. Today, on the way back from a drive I found out Cruise control function doesn't working. I am sure it was working prior to me leaving my car for repair, cause I have used it!

The Cruise control master switch lights on and when I press 'Set', I see cruise control light on the dash but then the speed seem to drop. I read that cruise control might get affected if I get a timing belt job done.

I am heading to dealer tomorrow to have a safety recall issue rectified and I can bring this up with them. I do not want to get ripped off or have them suggest me to put unnecessary parts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If it was working before you went in, then they will fix it

Especially if you've heard it's a common for that to happen
