99 Acura TL bose sound system

otay, so the car has a premium sound system by bose with a built in mid-sub in the back dash. on previous cars with the oem radio, i was able to attatch a converter to the back speakers to plug into my amp for a sub. some one told me that you can't do it with the bose systems. IS THAT TRUE? . if so, is there a different way to plug in a subwoofer system to the bose system??

yes you can. i've done it to mine. your converter probably has a left and right input....the bose sub has two sets of wires going into it. use one set for the left side and one set for the right, and you'll get awesome sound.

I tried the wires on the deck and it was not too bad but I was getting some static sometimes. So I try the converter on the wires of the factory amp that goes to the factory sub, Left and Right and that was awesome. Better yet I unplug the factory sub and it was more clear.

Converter to Factory Amp = Awesome sound.
