Not 100% sure...maybe 168 runs at a higher amp...have to look it up to be sure. But...168 is 1CP brighter than 194.

is the reverse light 912 or 921??
polarg M5 or M6 would be the replacement? cuz both look the same and are 18W each.
if anyone has white reverse lights, does it help illuminate the ground or a wall behind you especially if you're on a dark street? that's the only reason i'd be willing to upgrade...for safety.

Then don't. Upgrading the rears...like most of the corner bulbs are mostly for aesthetics. No matter what color you coat the bulbs...if its rated at 18W, then it'll spit out the same light output. Less if the coating is thick enough. BTW..its 921, not 912.

Here's the difference...and all of them are the same size.

921 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: 1.4A / 17.9W
lumens: MSCP:21 (candle power)

912 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: 1A / 12.8W
lumens: MSCP:12 (candle power)

906 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .69A / 8.97W
lumens: MSCP:6 (candle power)

916 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .54A / 7.29W
lumens: MSCP:2 (candle power)

Here's the main difference with the mini wedge bulbs.

All of them are the same size...just different wattage.

168 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .35A / 4.9W
lumens: MSCP:3 (candle power)

194 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .27A / 3.78W
lumens: MSCP:2 (candle power)

158 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .24A / 3.36W
lumens: MSCP:2 (candle power)

161 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .19A / 2.66W
lumens: MSCP:1 (candle power)

really? but i've seen some pix with hyper white bulbs for reverse and they look so freakin' bright. but then again, i've never looked at my car or other TLs backing up so maybe there's not much diff since both stock and the replacement bulbs are 18W.
