Clock Illumination -- 2002 TL
Does the interior clock have a backlight? Seems like I remember reading an automobile review that stated the clock is not illuminated when the parking or headlights are turned on. The owner's manual does not address this.

I have this same problem with my car. I think it's a short in the light somehow, because it hasn't worked for about a year now and a few months ago it was working for a short period of time.
Mandiew, do your rear defrost, front defrost buttons light up at night when you turn on your lights. I can't remember if those are suppost to illuminate or not. |

Yes. Both my rear and front defrost buttons light up when I turn on my lights. I found out from my Acura service manager that the light in my clock needs to be replaced -- cost is $121 for parts and labor. I cannot take riding at night without my clock being visible. I'm a little neurotic and anal when it comes to things like that (smile).
