Angry Everyone Read This!!!!!!!!!!!!

****NEVER GO TO MIAMI ACURA FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE*****

I took my car there, because my transmission blew on my 02 TLS with 4800 miles on it. I dropped it off and the "porter" and I walked around my car marking down the 2 things wrong with my car. My car WAS mint except for a few paint chips from driving. Now my left exhaust pipe is dented and pushed it, and the lower part of the bumper area is scratched... I brought it to the attention of the service manager (Frank Perez) and he said that it was there before I brought the car in, and that there was no way that the porter could see the damage without putting the car up on a lift. I said Bull $hit you can stand 10 feet away and see the freaking damage. He stood his ground and said there was nothing that he could do because the damage was already there. I called Acura and they said that there was nothing that they could do because the dealership is not owned by Acura. I filed a claim with them and I also filed a complaint with the BBB of South East Florida. Anyone else have a Fvcked up experiance like this one???

Thanks,

Vtecadict

PS. I have a copy of the damage report sheet that they took before taking my car in for service.

ESTIMATE::

I called Rick Case today to get an estimate of the damage. They parts dept.:

Muffler--213.24
Tip-- 41.32
Pipe-- 245.00
Install-- 120.00

Total: 619.56

Then I have to get the bumper painted which will be 372.00

For a grand total of: 991.56

I don't want Miami Acura to fix it I want Rick Case to fix it.

That sucks that the only other Acura Dealer around me is Rick Case that is like an hour away!

Oh well,

I will make the drive for service and respect.

Late,

Vtecadict

Yea bro, I hear you! All the time, the Acura dealership, Ferman, that I go to always dicks me over sometime, it is either we did not do that or the problem is fixed the color doesn't matter, and the last time I went into service, I needed a ride back to the dealership which was like 5 min. from where I it took them 2 hours to get over there and when I talked to the driver about it...guess what he told me, that they called him 15 min. before he came to get me.......what dicks!

Call Acura direct and file a compliant, also, file a suit at the small claims. That's what I would do.

Acura dealerships suck. 2 days before I totalled my car I went in to have the brakes resurfaced due to the warranty issue. They told me on the phone that it would be the whole day there and they would not provide me a way to get home and back. I was like....so what about a loner? Which Acura says they are required to give to me if the car is there for more than 4 hours, which it was.

So they refused to give me the loaner. We had words on the phone. But I brought my car in anyways. When I arrived at the front desk we had words about it again. I was gonna call up corporate customer service and tell them about it, when they all saw my car. What followed was an hour of picture taking, answering questions, etc. It looked like a one-car-meet.

So then they decided to give me the TL loaner. I was like WTF???? Pissed me off, but I took it anyways because I needed it. I've never been to a GOOD Acura dealership. Period. I hope the next brand car I purchase will have better customer service.

yes very true, imho acura has to improve their service way more than the qualities of their cars (don't get me wrong, quality is still a problem there). i go to lexus dealers (more than 5) and i always got treated like i am a family, very good. i always leave with a smile. and acura dealer pretty much every time i go there i have to be well prepared for all the attack....
