'97 2.2 CL O2 Sensor
I've got a '97 2.2 CL manual trans 75k m, and as I was accelerating on the highway the check engine light came on. Took it to local honda dealership to get diagnosed and they say it's the O2 sensor- and going to cost $277 for the part (just one!)- not including labor- (!) seems absurdly expensive since I've seen Demso and Walker sensors for anywhere btw $50 and $80 online- any thoughts? I'm inclined to do it myself - anyone replaced their O2 sensors recently? Ideas as to where they are? (I think there are 3, one before and two after the catalytic, is that right?)
Thanks |

Just picked up my cl today but I have changed o2 sensor in my 97 accord, really easy just uplug wires, unscrew sensor, thread in new one, plug in wires, had to get honda to turn off light, but since then have bought code reader and can reset light myself, just make sure you know which sensor it is front or rear

unplugging the ecu fuse or unplugging the battery will reset your light
