99 CL HID problems?

I've been searching and can't find the answer, i have checked my connections, both the ballasts and bulbs work on other cars, my fuse works, my OEM lights work, but as soon as i install my HIDs they won't turn on. What could be the problem?

check your wiring.. make sure it's + to +, i had this isue when i did my lights the lights i bought were reversed in the conection.. + was where - should be..lol

I have checked the connections, like i said before the ballasts work in another car, infact theyre brand new. OEM will work but HID will not.

and just a heads up, they worked before in my car then one of my ballasts had a hole melted through it (put it near the car battery) and the bulb burned out
Bought a brand new set of ballasts and bulbs and now all of the sudden they won't work.
Just to make sure that it wasn't a bad batch of ballasts i bought a third just to check, still didn't work.

A 1999 CL didn't come with HIDs from the factory. It was some sort of added aftermarket system.

There's only 3 parts in the system, the ballast, the igniter, and the bulb. If it's not the ballast or the bulb, it must be the igniter. If all three are good, you're not getting power to the headlight. Are you getting 12V to the ballast?
