Lowering Spring INFO

It seems like there are constant threads concerning the lowering our cars. So I've done some research from previous threads and compiled these specs for the TL:

H&R OE Springs
Drop: 1" F/1.25" R
Comfort: Near Stock
Additional Equipment: None
Comments: Very Subtle Drop without the need for a camber kit or new shocks.(Stock Shocks should last a while with these springs)

H&R Sport Springs
Drop: 1.75"F/1.5"R
Comfort: Harsher than Stock
Additional Equipment: Camber Kit may be required. Stock Shocks should last approx. half their lifespan on this drop.(~45kmiles)
Comments: Even Drop.

H&R Race Springs
Drop: 2.2"F/1.75"R
Comfort: Harsh
Additional Equipment: Camber Kit will be required. Stock Shocks will not last very long with this low of a drop.
Comments: Raked' looked, in other words, the front is lower than the rear.

Comptech Springs
Drop: 1.75"F/1.5"R
Comfort: Harsher than Stock
Additional Equipment: Camber Kit may be required. Stock Shocks should last approx. half their lifespan on this drop.(~45kmiles)
Comments: Raked' looked, in other words, the front is lower than the rear.

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
Drop: 2.1"F/1.6"R
Comfort: Harsher than Stock
Additional Equipment: Camber Kit may be required. Stock Shocks should last approx. half their lifespan on this drop.(~45kmiles)
Comments: N/A

Eibach Sportline Springs
Drop: 2.6"F/2.3"R
Comfort: Harsh
Additional Equipment: Camber Kit will be required. Stock Shocks will not last very long with this low of a drop.
Comments: N/A

General Comments:
The above information is what I have compiled from previous threads. Neither Acuraworld.com nor I assume responsibility for the accuracy of the information stated above.

If anyone finds any errors in the above information, please let me know and I will correct them accordingly. The drops stated are a consensus of information provided by people with those springs. Some people have stated that their drops are higher/lower than the stated, but I found the above information to be the majority.

Happy Modding t

There are adjustable & non-adjustable coilovers. Maybe he meant non-adjustable.

Do the adjustable coilovers require the camber kits?

the rule of thumb seems to go that if you drop lower than 2"....you WILL need a camber kit..

Some comments regarding H&R Race Springs: spring isolators may be required to prevent the springs from squeaking when going over bumps. For more details regarding spring isolators, see my post below:

Ok I got some H&R race springs

it'd be really nice if people would now post thier experiences with thier drops and thier personal view on how they think it rides... b/c i'm in the market for springs right now, and i want something to drop my car nicely, maybe about 2 inches but still gives it a nice daily drive, nothing too harsh.... suggestions? pics?
