Talking Comptech Ice Box Intakes

NEW PRODUCT RELEASE!!!!

Just thought I would let everyone know that I am now taking orders for the Comptech Ice Box Intake for the CL/TL/CL-S/TL-S as they will be released and shipping next week.

The Ice Box is a cold air style intake with the benefits of a short ram intake--i.e. more torque. The retail price on these is $279 and I will be selling them for $240 shipped anywhere in the US.

We will not be running cards until these ship, but I want to get people inline to be the first ones to receive them.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks!
Dean Baty

TunerTL-S,

I am still waiting on confirmation on the numbers. From my personal experience on my car (Civic Si) I made 3-4 more WHP and 5-6 WTQ across the entire RPM band over the AEM.

oSoFastFerU,

Not yet, but it is very similar to the V6 Accord Ice Box.

Thanks
Dean

how's the roar when vtec kicks in? I don't want it too quiet, but I don't want it to sound like I'm racing everytime I drive and hit vtec.

it roars, but only in higher rpm's... or when you get on it.

it's nice because you don't have to hear it when you're just driving... doesn't sound like you're trying to race everyone on the road.

one thing I did not like about the Icebox is that the access screws for the airbox are way down low. Was this problem addressed on the new box?

I believe they are still down low, but a little easier to access now.

Thanks
Dean

5 HP seems more reasonable for the AEM...
