2nd Foglight breaking
Hey everyone long time no see! lol it seems i only pop back in when i have an issue with the tsx, hence i rarely have issues but...
this is the second time my Foglight lense keeps breaking, any ideas or thick plastic i can use that wont melt on the light? does anyone else have these issues because it pains me to look at er' broken lense. Thanks for reading - any and every info or just hi is more then appreciated  ----------------------- and are these legit fit and function? i cant afford to keep paying $130 for a new OEM Foglight. thanks again people!!! Is it breaking due to a rock chip or something else?

i think it might have been a rock chip since theres a small break into the fog lense, and that may have also shattered the bulb. but some other people tell me because i was driving in heavy rain, the water could have gotten in, but im positive i had all the gaskets/seals on correctly.

well the first time it broke i bought it from a site called www.acuraoemparts.com where i bought the assembled foglight for ~$105. and i replaced the basically everything on that broken foglight unit minus the black plastic outer housing.
From what i know for now, they dont just sell the damn lense... WHICH THEY SHOULD!!! because thats all i need!! not the whole unit... if you have any luck finding just the lense let me know. im wondering if i should buy them off of ebay, but theyre oem style, claim perfect fit but i dont know. but it is only ~$48 including shipping for both Left and Right. im also wondering if they sell some sort of cover to go over the lense to make it more durable. since i feel like itll happen again eventually. p.s.... =( i had piaa foglight bulbs... and the bulb got shattered too... so there goes $60 with it... |

I hear ya about the lens part, that is why I asked where you bought it. I though maybe you found just the lens somewhere. Let me know if you purchase the Ebay ones, because I was thinking of doin the same thing and then would even have a spare (with my luck, it will be the same side again though!)
