Linking Keyless Remotes
I can't get my keyless remotes to be recognized by my '08. The remotes work fine for locking/unlocking, trunk open, panic alarm. It's just when I go through the procedure in the manual to make remote 1 recognized by the car as driver 1 so the seats go to the right settings it does not work.
Is there an alternate procedure? I can't get it to work on either remote. The manual says to unlock the car, stand outside, press the lock and unlock buttons at the same time until you get two blinks (I get them), open the driver door, close the driver door, lock the car with the remote, unlock with the remote, and start.
I should see a msg "Welcome Driver 1" when using remote 1 if it worked. All I see is "Welcome".
