Money spend of mods - was it worth it?

Do you think with all of the money spent on modifcations you got your moneys worth?

Just curious to see as it looks like people on this forum spent thousands adding mods to their TSX's.

Does it really make a difference over stock, and would you do it all over again?

See ya

Speaking for my Accord....I don't know if I would do it again. Hence why I have not done anything to it in a while.

I'm very happy with the mods I've done, and I would probably do it again. It's just so fun to make your badass TSX even more badass.

Car 1: 04' Acura TSX
These are all the mods I plan on doing to my TSX...

Styling
- Tint "Done"
- Debadged "Done"
- Interior Blue LEDs "Done"
- Springs

The first 3 were just for aesthetic purposes only... I want to lower my car by getting springs hence improve handling and appearance... only looking for about a 1 inch drop or alittle more... I like how the TSX looks all so I didn't want to get a body kit or what not for it though I would mind... just don't have that much money to splurge on heh...

Performance
- Short Shifter "Done"
- Cold Air Intake

The short shifter is to help with the shifting and the Cold Air Intake will help with the power and gas milage of my car...

Other than that, thats all I plan on doing... I would like to get Headers, Body Kit, Rims, Hondata Reflash, and other JDM goodies but I don't have the money to do so... I don't if I would go through with all that even if I had the money but the mods I listed before I will definately go through...

All the mods I did were free. My sister wants to buy some Tein SS coilovers to lower the car. I think we will get tints and thats all.

well if u dont think it was worth it. just kepp ur original parts like springs, grill, etc etc. and if u ever were to sel ur car just have those things re-installed and sell the aftermarket parts. but im guessing u already thought of that.

but i feel ya... im really careful on spending money on my car too. i want to spoil it but i dont want to be putting money into nothing, so im shooting for the basic mods like CAI, springs, etc... but id never personally buy like a mugen oil cap for 80$. thats just me haha

Yeah, I'm saving all the stock parts so that I can part out the car when I sell it - you get alot more money by selling it separately too.

and yeah to the stupidity of buying a mugen oil cap

One thing I wish car parts were like computer parts... depreciates in price over time...

How about them Spoon and Mugen reservoir covers... lol, they are just basically sport/sweat wrist bands lol

Alright, for those of you who upgraded your suspension... Say if one dropped his car with springs/coilvers/or springs with shocks (whatever) and wanted to get the rear sway bar and front upper strut bar to help with the handling... What do you recommend getting first? The Rear Sway Bar or the Front Upper Strut Bar?

I noticed a bigger difference made in handling with the rear sway bar.

If you drop it more than 1.5" make sure you get a camber kit or your tires will die quickly..
