New member, TSX this month

Hello everyone, newbie here. I was a member at Benzforum, because I was deadset on the Kompressor coupe. But then the TSX became available. I saw some pictures, and thought it looked OK. But then I went to my local dealership, to see the TSX in person. WOW! An absolutely beatiful car. Very similar to an Accord, a 3 series, and an IS300, in terms of body style. And the interior is typical Honda, but totally updated, with aluminum colored accents, and plenty of leather. I test drove a 6 speed, and from that point on, MBenz was out of the picture. Plus, this car comes loaded, as it would have cost me another 5k to bring the benz up to date with the TSX. Folks, go take a look at the TSX, it's an amazing car. I'm turning in my 99 integra at the end of this month, and my salesman is tracking down a Milano Red 6 speed as we speak. There wasn't 1 option I liked, or needed. This car is loaded, and I can't wait. $381 a month, nothing down, 48 month lease, 15k miles a year. Pics will follow at the end of the month. Glad to be a member.

Mods?
Maybe a K & N air filter when it becomes available, but that's it.
And a sunroof visor.
Other than that, not a fan of mods.

Car 1: '02 TL-S
Congrats on the new car and welcome to the forum

Sim: mods on a leased car is kinda pointless, IMO...unless you're planning to buy out the car at the end of the lease (which is usually a rip)

If only the TSX Type-S (hopefully) can have an IMA to go after 330i...
it'll be perfect...

Well, wheels... you can pretty much sell them to anyone when your lease is up. Pretty much standard 5-bolt pattern. Lots of people would buy them, and you won't lose that much money on them.
But yeah, that's why I haven't gotten the bodykit or a spoiler, either.

congratulations bigsport. i think you made the right decision. I work for mercedes benz and the kompressor coupe is a fun car to drive. I can't say much for the rear styling but it's definately a blast especially with the six speed. However, mechanically those motors have had a lot of problems in our shop. and after about 20,000 miles they start to sound like crap. It gets very loud(in a bad way). we've also had a few glove boxes just fall out for no reason. poor design on the c-class!

I wil be getting my tsx in june or july once i sell my prelude. I'm going for the carbon grey metallic.

The stock wheels are sweet looking. The sound system is perfect. And every car I see that is lowered always bounces out of control. Plus, even the slightest mod to your car is illegal in almost every state.... whether officers choose to enforce those laws varies in every state, city, village, township, etc.

Not to mention dealerships love to use that as an excuse to void any warranty claims you make.
