TSX Fog Lights

I need your valuable knowledge! Does anyone here know if the JDM fog lights offered on E-Bay, will connect with the OEM fog light harness connector on the TSX?? I only need one light assembly and would rather buy a set off e-bay at less than half the price I can order just one light from a dealer. Thanks all..

I'm hoping it should just be a plug and play. I will let you know because I just did exactly what you are talking about and ordered a set off of Ebay!

The passport fogs should fit fine.

The fog lights worked fine from Ebay, but of course, they are a little bit of cheaper quality. I sure wasnt going to pay Acura's pricing for a fog light though. They install and look like oem, but the original fogs (from Acura) are actually held onto you front fascia on the bottom and the side. The Ebay fogs are only held on the fascia on the side, one screw instead of two screws holding the fog light. Still works just the same and fits the same, but not as high of quality. That's kinda of a given considering the price. All in all, would I buy a foglight set off of Ebay? Sure would.

what about a car that doesn't have them stock?

I haven't looked under the car yet to see if the wires are there, but I'm doubting they are. Also, what about a switch inside the car? Where is that usually?

Anyone install those JDM aftermarket ebay lights on a car that didn't come with stock fogs? I'd like them to be as close to OEM in function as possible.

I bought an OEM fog light kit from Acura and installed it myself when I bought the car. The car is wired up to the fuse box. For the fog light switch, you get a new headlamp switch assembly (left of the steering wheel) that has the fog light switch on the arm near where your headlight switch currently is. Then you just have to install the fog lights and wire. All is included in the Acura kit along with directions. Note- you do have to pull off the front bumper of the car.

I just bought and recieved ebay fog lights. They came from carpartnation. The package wasn't sealed on one side. The plastic around one of the socket lights was broken and in parts in one of the plastic bags...And ther were no installation instructions included. I think the light might work eventhough the plastic is broke. but does anyone have the instructions they can email me..?

Did you try contacting the seller and telling them what you received?

You purchased off of Ebay correct? There should be a link on the listing page to contact the seller about the item. Voice your displeasure to them and see what they will do for you. You know about feedback ratings with Ebay as well right? Do you have the Ebay item number?

This is actually my 1st ebay purchase. I actually think this lights would prob work. The part that is broken is the housing around the connector on one of the lights. But it still looks like the plug could be plugged into the connector. The broken pieces were in the bag with the light. What I really think I need are the install instructions....I should have the ebay no, I have all the emails.....Actually, I'm not really sure I received all the parts. The box was not taped on one of the sides, and I have no intructions or part list to compare to what I received...

OK This might not be as bad as originally thought. The broken part is on the part that holds the bulb on that fits into the housing of the light. I suspect that is part of the bulb because it doesn't look like the bulb can be removed. SOOOO, I'll check local part store for a replacement. Can someone direct me to a schematic, or something..??? to direct me about the connections on the short and long harnesses. Some connections are obvious(ie connections to light fixtures ), but some are not....Also, looks like some power connections and some grounds...Diff color plugs ect.... some look like they go under the hood, others look like they go under the dash......????
