Car 1: 1993 Acura Integra
1993 Acura Integra GS Sputtering

I've just started having problems with my car sputtering really badly. Today I replaced the fuel filter to no avail. I can't seem to find the diagnostic hook up, does it even have one? No check engine lights come on on the dash or anything, I don't have a lot of money to experiment with, so a quick resolution is in order. I have a 1.8L DOHC. The car has been running great up until a couple of days ago. It has 230,000 miles on it, but it has been very dependable and a really good car. Any suggestions on this topic would be helpful.

hey, check out www.2ndgen.info we specialize in "older" tegs and there are many of suggestions we can provide you with, first and foremost, when is the last time you have your timing belt replaced? has the car been sitting for a long time?

If it's sputtering, I'm going to assume it's still running. You should desecribe in more detail as to when it happens and under what conditions.

Check your electrical, sounds like you're misfiring. Cap and rotor on the dizzy comes to mind, or you may have a restriction in your intake, or vacuum leak.
