Removal Help
Alright, so the last time I removed a silencer was on my friend's integra. I jss got a pair of pliers and hammer I think and yanked it out with some tapping of the hammer. I know this works but I'm soon going to remove my silencer. Is this a safe way of doing it? I don't wanna damage anything. and I don't have the little hook tool. Anyone have any other suggestions?
thanks |

you shouldn't need to hammer it. just warm up the exhaust by turning the engine on then off after a couple of minutes or just blow dry it. then just use the pliers to pull it out. but if you do think, you'll need the hammer, just don't hit it too hard. i'd just use the pliers to hit it, if needed.
